A

Artist's Proof (AP)

A high-resolution archival pigment print on canvas. Special inks are used to capture the vivid color and detail of the original painting. They are then heavily hand-enhanced with paint. A very small number of these editions are made, usually limited to only 10% of the total edition. Each one is hand signed, numbered, and designated “AP”.

Giclée

Pronounced (zhee-KLAY) is a term for a high quality, archival inket print. It can be printed on canvas or paper. Shawn Mackey's signed and numbered (SN) limited editions are printed using a 12 color process with archival pigment inks. A layer of UV resistant varnish is applied to the canvas before they further hand-enhanced with acrylic paint.

Hand Enhancement

Hand painting applied to a limited edition to reflect the texture and color of the original painting.

Limited Edition (LE)
